What is salvation and why do we need it?

Well I'm glad you asked. You see we are all sinners by breaking God's laws in Romans 3:23 KJV

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

His 10 commandments is his law and every single person who ever lived or will live sins, except for God's son Jesus who was without sin .

The 10 commandments are found in Exodus 20

  1. You shall have no other god’s before me.

  2. Thou shalt not make idols

  3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

  4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy.

  5. Honor your father and mother.

  6. Thou shalt not murder.

  7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

  8. Thou shalt not steal.

  9. Thou shall not bear false witness. False witness is lying, dishonest, deceiving

  10. You shall not covet. Exodus 20:17 NIV translation “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

Now every single one of us has broken more then one. But there are other things that God despises you can find them in the bible . God's laws are moral and just and when broken is punished by eternal damnation to the lake of fire called hell you willburn for ever and never die. Revelation 20:14-15 KJV

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now salvation is knowing that we are sinners and in need of a savior , we have to repent of our sins, accept that Jesus was beaten bled nailed to a cross and died as a sacrifice for us sinners, and on the third day He rose from the dead that we can have eternal life with Him because he loves us. John 3:16 KJV "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believeth in Him should not parish, but have everlasting life.

Now repentance more than being or saying sorry for what you have done it's also turning from our sinful ways and living for God and working everyday to be more like our savior we won't be perfect like Him but we should work hard not to keep sinning and okay God’s word and how he wants us to live we must love the Lord with all our hearts. He is the perfect father the most loving person you will ever know . The greatest comfort. And by His stripes we are heal. Time is short no one is promised tomorrow you could die in an accident anytime or something else people die accordingto the internet 106.60 people die every minute . The bible says can't serve two masters you have to serve one or the other, love one and not the other. So my question for you is this are you going to live a sinful wicked life and live for satan the father of all lies, satan doesn't care or love you he just wants to ruin your life he comes to kill steal and destroy, or are you going to live for Jesus that love and cares and died and rose again for you and are you going to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior repent of your sins turn from your sins before it's to late. God is waiting for you He wants you to be with Him for eternity. He wants a relationship with you. Again I ask will you choose to live for satan the father of lies ,killer and destroyer and keep your sinful wicked ways have eternal damnation, or are you going to repent and turn from your sinful wicked ways and turn to God and live for Him and worship God the creator of the universe and love God with all your heart and live with Him for eternity?
